Commander In Chief Obama - The More Efficient Imperialist Compared To Bush

Leave it up to Obama's man at CNN and Time to prove my case.  As seen in the article by Fareed Zakaria NATO's intervention into Libya lead by the US forces commanded by Commander In Chief Obama was a strategic and logistical success.
  • It cost $1 billion as compared to Iraqi's $1 trillion
  • It cost not American lives while Iraq cost 5,000
  • It was done at a strategic pace and not forced into action via arrogance and incompetence
  • It was able to gain the complicit cover of the United Nations, certain members of the Arab League and of course 4 African Colonizers from Europe
The one thing that Mr Zakaria never got around to in his article (nor will he on his Sunday show on CNN) is JUSTIFYING this bombing raid on the sovereign nation of Libya.  The fact that it was sold to Americans as a "Humanitarian Aid Mission" didn't seem to bother Zakaria in the least.   The fact that it was logistically possible for America and the powers of NATO to make 17,000 bombing raids in the air to destroy a nation in Africa thus proving European and Western Military Supremacy over all others is a foregone conclusion that Zakaria  never needed to mention.

The greater difference between Iraq and Libya is that the New York Times, Washington Post nor any "mainstream" media source will need to later apologize for failing to scrutinize what they were sold as a justification for war and then later participating in the jingoism that ensued.   As Zakaria said - Americans like to win.

If the US military learned from the mistakes in Iraq and chose to use Libyan Rebels to do the ground killing - I hope that with the "next next war" that the American anti-war progressives will also learn from Libya and either give the enemy president the same cover as they did Obama or they realize that the friendly president, if not challenged is going to keep taking the nation into "efficient wars".

Obama's Jobs And Rick Perry's Jobs

What does a jingOist do when he needs to promote Commander In Chief Obama's accomplishments in stopping Bush's 700,000 jobs per months lost while attacking Republican theatener Rick Perry of Texas?

Answer: Discredit the 40% of the nation's job growth which came from Texas as "McJobs" and just don't reconcile this degradation with what this says about Obama's touting of months of positive job growth.

Its just that simple.

This is the pattern of the progressive left.

If you notice when we have a conservative president the swam of progressives start to QUALIFY jobs. When a favorable president is in power, however, they focus on his having come through for people in need of jobs.

How hard would I have to search to find such analysis of Obama's job growth numbers on these progressive-fundamentalist web sites?

Obama's Approval Rating Hits 41% - Racism Grows In America

Commander In Chief Obama's Approval Ratings Slips Below 40% For The First Time

Obama Fist Bump Black Press Vows To Find The "Tea Party Racists" that are responsible for this and punish them for it.

President Obama's summer woes have dragged his approval rating to an all-time low, sinking below 40% for the first time in Gallup's daily tracking poll.

New data posted Sunday shows that 39% of Americans approve of Obama's job performance, while 54% disapprove. Both are the worst numbers of his presidency.

Obama's approval rating has hovered in the 40% range for much of 2011, peaking at 53% in the weeks following the death of Osama bin Laden.

But Americans' view of his job performance continued to tick downward as the debt-ceiling debate heated up. By the time he signed legislation averting a federal default, he was mired in the low-40% range.

The polling setback comes as the Republican race to unseat him has kicked into overdrive. The past week has been dominated by the activity in Iowa ahead of the Ames Straw Poll, and the entrance of a new contender in Texas Gov. Rick Perry. The candidates have routinely assailed Obama's leadership in appealing to conservative activists who dominate this stage of the nominating contest.

Obama is set to launch something of a counter-offensive on Monday with a three-day bus tour of the Midwest, a trip that includes two stops in Iowa. The White House denied that the itinerary was politically motivated, however.

The three-day tracking poll was conducted from Aug. 11-13

After Obama - Salmonella Laced Food Recalls Are No Longer The Fault Of Lax Federal Administration, Justifying The Overthrow Of The Top Executive

Cargill recalls 36 million pounds of ground turkey

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

This post is ultimately not about the massive food recall from Cargil

Instead it is a request for everyone to shift their mindset back about 7 years and then replay the event of a massive food recall. (and news of a massive surge in US Troop deaths in the field of battle).

Of course these events were always countered by massive public outcry from the usual suspects who made the case that this is yet another transaction proving the INCOMPETENCE of the administration.

These are more "happy days".
A massive recall of tainted ground turkey.
A downed helicopter that kills 31 troops.

All of this is transacted by the news - just as they have always done.
The key issue is that the left wing relay agent that takes this news in and then spits out an INDICTMENT is purposely disabled.

The resulting news which covers the protests and the news analysts that posit their criticism merely made it seem that the bad news was greater then than it is now.

The "Dear Mr President" Song Under The Obama Administration

A Comment From The Root.com question - "Is President Obama An Effective Politician"

From poster Alicook:

I remember when President George W. Bush was in office and failing miserably on what appeared to be all fronts. He would calmly rest on the belief that history would be on his side years down the road. I think that this statement does not apply to George W. Bush but it will for President Barack Obama. If you look at the record, Obama has been able to accomplish things that have been beneficial to those on the left, the right and in the middle. I sense that people are genuinely frustrated with President Obama's temperament. He is calculating, thoughtful and willing to compromise. In my opinion that is what leadership is all about. I also think that he has been hamstrung by jealous politicians, like Senator Mitch McConnell, who would love to see him be a one term president. President Obama has navigated these waters with grace, class and thoughtfulness. This current political dilemma reminds me of one the wise Biblical figure of Solomon faced with two women claiming to be the mother of the baby brought before him. The women demanded that he act swiftly and make a definitive ruling as to who should have custody. However, his answer was shocking and seemed unwise and unethical, divide it into equal parts. President Obama has had to deal with politicians, who like the fake mother claim most virulently to know what is in the country's best interest even if that means our nation's demise. They have an attitude of "if i can't have it...no one can."

President Obama has had to be patient and delicate in letting people play their political cards, allowing them to reveal their true intentions. The real fear opponents of President Obama have is what are the cards he is saving for his next term in office, immigration reform perhaps? Politics is an ugly spectacle for most because the true intentions and motives of people are rarely discussed honestly. I continue to believe that President Obama has the best interest of our entire nation in mind and that may be what scares people so much! I also believe that in 2012 he will have ample opportunities to reiterate his positions and bring to light the tactics and motivations of those who sought to stand in the way of our nation's progress. I won't miss him because I don't believe he is going anywhere and I'm looking forward to his second term in office! The righteous are typically the ones willing to compromise and let go of the political baby!

For Mr Cook he does not require the use of statics and measures to apprise the actual effectiveness of President Obama.    There is little doubt that the war-making in Libya based on false pretenses of "Humanitarian Aide" won't ever appear on Mr Cook's radar.

When I read the logic of a person like Cook I am less troubled with what he believes than I am what he might ALLOW TO BE DONE by Obama - all because Cook believes that "Obama is working in the best interests of the nation" and those of us who are on the look out merely have ill-intent for Obama.

Sadly after 2 terms in office and a Constitutional prohibition on power - Cook will seek out another Progressive leaders to latch onto.  The RESULTS don't matter.  Only the intentions.

Those who fold their persona upon a politician or an organization scare me the most.   Don't expect any independent thought from them - even when the 'constructive feedback' of the real world data is telling them to "Pull Up!! Mountain ahead".

Is It Possible That The Progressives See Obama As Malleable As Does The Tea Party?

With the agreement among the leadership in Congress on the debt deal I have heard many Progressive-Fundamentalist media commentators question the fortitude of Commander In Chief Obama as it relates to his ability to stand up to the Republicans (from their perspective) and defend the interests of the core constituencies within the Democratic Party - the "Vulnerable Masses".

Do The Progressives See A Perceived Weakness In Commander In Chief Obama That They Are Exploiting For Their Own Purposes?

My initial assessment from 3 years ago was that then candidate Senator Obama was a worthy vessel for Progressives to move their agenda forward with.  I vessel which they could load up and then clear the path for - if you will.

It is clear that "Obama The Black Canvas" was a bit of usurpation that was used by the Obama Campaign to compel people to make investments of their ballots into his campaign.

We have not heard the question about how Progressive leaders and organizations may view Commander In Chief Obama as malleable to their will and attempt to make a run at him in the very same way that the Tea Party forces have done.
