Obama & Net Neutrality: Big Carriers Wish To Soak The Rich - Stunning

It doesn't get any better than this folks.

During a question-and-answer session on YouTube, President Obama reiterated his support of net neutrality regulations--one of the major tech themes of his campaign--but also moved a step further on the issue by hinting that he might be against metered broadband or tiered pricing. "We're getting push-back, obviously, from some of the bigger carriers who would like to be able to charge more fees and extract more money from wealthier customers," he said. "But we think that runs counter to the whole spirit of openness that has made the Internet such a powerful engine for not only economic growth, but also for the generation of ideas and creativity." It's unclear though how the president's positions could eventually worm their way into policy; the FCC is in the midst of implementing net neutrality guidelines. The president's comments come in the wake of statements made last week by Robert McDowell, one of the two Republican commissioners at the FCC. McDowell said that if the commission adopts broad new net neutrality rules for wireless and wireline networks, the agency's authority to do so will likely be challenged in the courts.

If thees telecom carriers "suck the rich dry".........they won't have enough money left for Obama to TAX away from them.

For those of you who don't know what "Net Neutrality " is.  Basically it is whatever the activist at the time who is seeking to make an assault upon the industry says it is.

2010 The Year With No Bush To Blame For The Hole In The Budget

Obama vows to address record deficit woes

Please note:

I am "way past Obama".
I am now looking at "YOU".

I wonder how long will some of you accept and repeat what you hear in the way of redirection of blame?

I know that Bush is a favored "Whipping Boy".  (It is nice to know that I can say "Whipping Boy" about Bush and no one will charge me - a Black man - with "racism").
At some point you must realize the anti-management arrangement you set up by not leaning upon "your guy", demanding that he bring his spending in line with what you demanded when Bush was president.

If Bush was spending like a "drunken sailor" then Obama is a squadron of those sailors.

How To Detect Where A Media Source Stands On Obama

From my observations this week, Post-State of The Union - many media entities are breaking in a distinct way on the subject of Obama's interaction with the Supreme Court during his speech.

Pro-Obama entities will focus upon the reaction by Associate Justice Alito to Obama's admonition of the court with respect to "allowing foreign corporate donations into American elections.

By comparison those who are more inclined to criticize Obama AND/OR who are more "matter of fact", regardless whom is speaking - pointed out the ERROR of Obama's statement.

The bottom line is - Obama was incorrect in his claim about foreign corporate donations. They were illegal prior to the ruling. They remain illegal after the ruling.

Will Chris Matthews Ever Be Able To Look Past The Race Of Opponents Of Obama's Policies?

In the video above MSNBC commentator Chris Matthews told of his new found enlightenment as he listened into President Obama speech but "did not see a Black man".

I do not see this as a racist statement. Of course Mr Matthews would have no cause to advance this statement if Obama was White.

I would like to challenge Mr Matthews on a different but related point.
This past summer we saw "Tea Party Protests". The vast majority of those who were protesting were White.

Upon this point Mr Matthews lost his contact lenses that now has him "color blind". He served up an indictment that these "White protesters against Obama" must be motivated by RACISM since there is such little diversity among them. He asked the guest to disprove that racism was the key factor in having them take to the street. In fact both Matthews and Janeane Garofalo made the point that it must be racist since none of these people protested against Bush.

This proves one thing to me: Tales of "Racial Enlightenment" are sometimes used as a measure to proves one's own evolution in one arena while this same person uses the lack of diversity to tell of another's retrograde status.

I challenge Mr Matthews to interview more Black tax payers and ask them why they chose not to protest with the Tea Party crowds when any local newscast where Black people live will show them going to their local and county governments to resist planned tax increases.

I know that Mr Matthews and others are not going to do this because such an inspection must lead with the notion that "Black people have an EQUAL capacity to make use of ideological bigotry", which sometimes shapes our behavior as White people are inclined make use of.

96% of all Black voters supporting Obama is a sign of our connection to our own "best interests".
90% of all White voters in Alabama voting for John McCain instead of Barack Obama shows racial hatred. Alabama is a state that won't be cured until it becomes a blue state.................AGAIN.

You do the math folks.

Obama 2010 Calendar - From Slavery To The White House

One day I am going to put aside my "judgmentalism" and simply GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT, profiting handsomely in the process of doing so.
